Our destination is the island of Dhigurah, a beautiful long sandy island in the middle of the Indian Ocean.
Dhigurah is perfectly located for this expedition, in the heart of the South Ari Atoll Marine Protected Area - the home of whale sharks in the Maldives.
Expect beautiful turquoise water and white sand beaches.
As a local Maldivian island, you will get a taste of the real Maldives, immersing yourself in the local culture and customs.

Kaush is a wildlife conservation biologist (MSc) & photographer, and has been deeply passionate about wildlife from a young age. His desire to document and protect wildlife has taken him across the globe, from the arctic tundra to the depths of the Indian Ocean. As a sustainability advocate, Kaush's expeditions focus on intimate wildlife experiences which are both ethical and respectful of the environment.
