Kaush is a wildlife conservation biologist (MSc) and award-winning wildlife photographer and filmmaker from the UK.
With a background in wildlife conservation biology, every frame I create is driven by purpose: to inspire curiosity, empathy, and action for nature. From working with the BBC Natural History Unit to collaborating with conservation NGOs around the world, Kaush bridges science and storytelling - creating films and imagery that don’t just show what’s beautiful, but why it matters, and what we can do to protect it.
Grounded In Conservation Science
MSc in Wildlife Conservation Biology
Kaush’s storytelling is rooted in science. With an MSc in Wildlife Conservation, he has worked on diverse field research projects - from studying whale shark ecology in the Maldives, to monitoring elephants in South Africa, to reseraching humpback whales in Mozambique.
These experiences shaped his perspective behind the lens, allowing him to create narratives that honour the species he works with and reflect the science that underpins their conservation.

Kaush believes that powerful storytelling lives at the intersection of science and emotion. His work is driven by purpose - to illuminate the unseen, celebrate the extraordinary, and give voice to the nature’s most vulnerable inhabitants. With every sequence he crafts, he strives to create a sense of closeness, as though the viewer is right there in the wild beside him.
Through thoughtful composition, patient observation, and a deep respect for the wildlife he films, Kaush brings heart to every narrative. His stories linger not only because they are beautiful, but because they remind us why the ocean matters - and why it’s worth fighting for.

Kaush leads and documents expeditions across some of the most biodiverse waters on the planet, including the Maldives, Mozambique, Mexico, and the Galápagos. Each journey is designed with intention - grounded in science, photography, and ethical wildlife practices.
In the field, he balances the roles of guide, educator, and storyteller. Whether tracking whale movements offshore or exploring coral reefs at dawn, Kaush creates purposeful opportunities for guests to learn, connect, and experience the wild responsibly. His expeditions aim not only to deliver unforgettable encounters, but to foster a deeper appreciation for conservation.

For Kaush, mentoring is an opportunity to share not only his knowledge, but his passion for storytelling and nature. He works closely with aspiring creators, helping them translate curiosity into confidence and raw moments into compelling narratives.
His mentoring blends technical training with creative exploration - teaching students how to see light differently, anticipate behaviour, build emotion into a scene, and shape stories that resonate long after the image fades.
