Legacy is a black-and-white portrait of Najin, one of the last northern white rhinoceroses in the world.

Photographed from the side at Ol Pejeta Conservancy, the frame is deliberately simple.

Without the distraction of colour, the attention falls on her form - the curve of her back, the shape of her head and the quiet presence of an animal whose existence carries extraordinary significance.

Najin is more than an individual.

She represents the remaining thread of a subspecies that has been pushed to the very edge of extinction.

Legacy is a portrait about continuity and loss, a reminder that conservation is not only about protecting what remains, but about understanding what it means when so little is left.
