Whilst searching for leopards I stumbled across this male elephant wallowing in a lake, completely submerged bar the tip of his trunk and one of his ears. His trunk would then disappear, only to reemerge a few minutes later, presumably when he ran out of air. This periscope motion continued for close to an hour, interrupted only by the occasional flapping of his ear to listen for the alarm calls of the Hanuman langurs.
